![]() Adding new items and characters are easier when the player is forced to try a new run every few hours. The other reason I think the change was made was because it makes modding and future DLC a whole lot easier. This gives flexibility, and also the chance to try out some more interesting characters, as well as to futz about with randomness in items, with the option to make things harder or easier. In comparison, a run of this title comes in at around 2-3 hours, with later chapters having more length. ![]() It clocks in at around a hundred or so hours, maybe more. I couldn't find a solution on any of the forums, does anyone knows what is wrong with my game? All help is greatly appreciated. If I was to look with a cynical eye on why the change was made to the gameplay loop, I see it as twofold I don’t know too many people who finished the first game. I tried reinstalling the dlc, verifying integrity of game files, and even restarting the PC but I keep getting the same stupid error. ![]() I can't enable the damned DLC, It just gets disabled as soon as I close the 'enabled DLCs' window after I enable it. When I checked the enabled DLC's for that save of mine, I saw that the Shieldbreaker DLC was disabled for some reason (I had played the the game 3 hour before without any problems) and I enabled it by just clicking on it (tick appeared next to it) and closed the 'enabled DLCs' window, tried to enter the game and got the same ''Required DLC is missing' error. I had 2 DLC's enabled: Shieldbreaker and the Color of Madness. Continue? (This will remove DLC content from your save and is not reversible.)'' I casually entered the game and selected my save to play the game, and all of a sudden a warning popped up saying ''Required Dlc is missing.
